3 arrested for smuggling alcohol in Musandam

Musandam – Royal Oman Police, represented by the Coast Guard in Musandam Governorate, have successfully intercepted a smuggling operation off the coast of Khasab. During a strategic maritime patrol, police boats identified and seized a vessel carrying three individuals of Asian nationality. Upon conducting a thorough inspection of the craft, officers discovered a significant cache of alcoholic beverages intended for illegal distribution. Following the seizure, the three suspects were taken into custody and the contraband was confiscated by the provincial authorities. The Royal Oman Police confirmed that all necessary legal proceedings are currently being finalised against the individuals involved.
