New Delhi – The Controller of Examinations has officially announced the postponement of Class X and Class XII board examinations across several Middle Eastern nations. This decision affects students in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The move comes as a direct response to the current situation developing within these regions, as the Board prioritises the safety and logistics of the examination process. Specifically, all examinations that were originally scheduled to take place on Monday, March 2, 2026, have been deferred. Officials have stated that new dates for these disrupted papers will be communicated at a later time. Meanwhile, the Board intends to conduct a thorough review of the regional circumstances on Tuesday, March 2, 2026. This assessment will determine the status of examinations scheduled from March 5 onwards. Students and educational institutions are urged to maintain close contact with their respective schools and monitor official channels for further updates.
