Five-day Ramadan Festival in Seeb boosts commerce and community activities

Seeb – The activities of this year’s Ramadan Festival kicked off on Sunday in Seeb, organised by the Social Development Committee in cooperation with the Omani Women’s Association in the wilayat. The five-day festival brings together entrepreneurs, artisan families and visitors in a vibrant community setting. The event features the participation of several female entrepreneurs from across Oman, as well as from other Gulf and Arab countries, besides artisan families from Seeb. Hilal bin Hamad Al Sarmi, General Supervisor of the festival, said the event aims to revitalise commercial and entertainment activities in the wilayat and provide families, individuals and entrepreneurs in Oman an opportunity to showcase and market their diverse products. He added that the festival hosts a wide range of products and consumer industries, reflecting the creativity and skills of participating entrepreneurs and families. The festival also features a cultural programme, including recitation by poets Saif Al Alawi and Adel Al Awadi.
