Geneva to host next round of US-Iran talks on Thursday

Muscat- Talks between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran are set to take place on Thursday in Geneva, Switzerland. H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, affirmed that the US-Iran negotiations to be hosted in Geneva on Thursday are being driven by positive efforts aimed at finalising an agreement between the two sides. The talks initially commenced in the Sultanate of Oman at the beginning of February and were subsequently continued in Geneva under Omani auspices, making tangible progress in identifying shared objectives and addressing related technical issues.
