Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei on the occasion of his appointment as the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In the formal correspondence, the Sultan expressed his sincere wishes for the new leader’s success in guiding the neighbouring nation and fulfilling his high-level leadership responsibilities.
