H M receives credentials of New Ambassadors

Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received the credentials of twelve newly appointed ambassadors from several brotherly and friendly nations during a formal ceremony held at Al Baraka Palace on Wednesday. The ceremony included the presentation of credentials by diplomatic representatives from Palestine, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Benin, Peru, Albania, Paraguay, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Malta, and Uganda. During their individual audiences with His Majesty, the ambassadors conveyed the greetings and well-wishes of their respective heads of state, expressing their profound appreciation for the opportunity to serve in the Sultanate of Oman. The envoys affirmed their dedication to strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between their countries and Oman across various sectors to serve mutual interests. In response, His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the new ambassadors and assured them of the full support of the Omani government and people to facilitate their diplomatic missions.
