H M Sultan Haitham issues 3 decrees

Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued three Royal decrees on Wednesday reading as follows: Royal Decree No 27/2026 on applying the Uniform GCC Law of Industrial Regulation, after the same was presented before the Council of Oman. Article 1 enforces the provisions of the Uniform GCC Law of Industrial Regulation attached to this decree. Article 2 cancels the Uniform GCC Law of Industrial Regulation promulgated by Royal Decree No 61/2008, as well as all that contradicts the law attached to this decree or contravenes its provisions. Article 3 states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced 30 days after its publication. Royal Decree No 28/2026 on amending some provisions of the Common Customs Law of the GCC States, after the same was presented before the Council of Oman. Article 1 states that the amendments attached to this decree will be applied to the Common Customs Law of the GCC States, promulgated by Royal Decree No 67/2003. Article 2 cancels all that contradicts the amendments attached to this decree or contravenes their provisions. Article 3 states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from the day following its publication. Royal Decree No 29/2026 on appointing non-resident ambassador. Article 1 appoints Thamer bin Fayez bin Khalfan al Alawi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Spain, as Oman’s Non-Resident Ambassador to the Principality of Andorra. Article 2 states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
