HM, regional leaders call for immediate ceasefire

Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik held two telephone calls with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of the Egypt and King Abdullah II of the Jordan. The discussions addressed the latest developments in the region following the Israeli-American bombardment of the Iran and the resulting escalation, as well as its repercussions on regional and global security and stability. The leaders underscored the urgent need for an immediate halt to the exchange of attacks and stressed the importance of returning to dialogue and diplomatic channels to defuse tensions and safeguard peace in the region.
