Iranian Ali Larijani heads to Muscat for official talks

Iran – The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, has departed from Tehran, to begin a high-level official visit. Accompanying a senior delegation, Larijani left on Tuesday to engage in strategic dialogues aimed at bolstering the long-standing bilateral relationship between the two neighbouring nations. During his visit to the Sultanate, the top security official is scheduled to hold consultations with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and the Foreign Minister, H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi. The agenda for these meetings includes an exchange of views on the latest regional and international developments, as well as a focused effort to expand cooperation between Tehran and Muscat.
