Muscat – Sultan’s Armed Forces in Oman has issued a formal advisory to the public regarding national security during the current regional climate. In an official statement released on Sunday, the military authorities called upon all citizens and residents to uphold their national responsibility by exercising extreme caution in their communications and online activities. The directive specifically advises against the filming or sharing of any photographs and videos featuring military installations, security equipment, or sensitive sites. Furthermore, the authorities have warned against the circulation of rumours and unverified information across social media platforms. The public is strongly encouraged to rely solely on official government sources for news and updates to ensure accuracy and maintain national stability.
