MoE announces new teaching vacancies for Omani graduates

Muscat – Ministry of Education (MoE), in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, has officially announced the opening of several teaching positions for the upcoming period. This initiative is designed to support Omani educators and integrate fresh talent into the national schooling system. The recruitment drive targets individuals holding an educational university degree or a general degree supplemented by a Graduate Diploma in Education. Eligibility extends to those expected to graduate during the 2025/2026 academic year, including students finishing in the first, second, or summer semesters. Furthermore, the Ministry has opened the application window to graduates from previous years who have not yet sat for the placement exams or those who previously attempted the exams but did not achieve the required passing score. Interested candidates are required to submit their applications electronically through the official Ministry of Education website via the Educational Portal. The application period is strictly scheduled to run from February 22, 2026 until March 12, 2026. Applicants must ensure all necessary documentation is attached, including academic transcripts, identification documents, and where applicable, international language proficiency certificates such as IELTS or TOEFL for English specialists, or DELF certificates for French and German language graduates. All submissions will undergo a rigorous review process based on established admission standards and criteria.
