Muscat- The regional conflict involving US, Israel and Iran has impacted air traffic, with precautionary measures leading to the cancellation of numerous flights. Oman Air announced the cancellation of several regional and international services due to the continued closure of airspace in parts of the region. The airline confirmed that all flights to and from Amman, Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Dammam, Kuwait, Copenhagen, Baghdad and Khasab scheduled between March 4 and March 6 have been cancelled. Other services across the network are operating as scheduled, although passengers have been advised to anticipate delays. Updates will be communicated through its official channels and website. In parallel, and in coordination with authorities in the sultanate and its counterparts across the GCC states, the Foreign Ministry has facilitated the return of a number of Omani citizens via land border crossings. The ministry affirmed that it is in close contact with Omani citizens overseas and is ready to take all necessary measures in response to evolving developments, ensuring their security and well-being.
