Oman, Iraq stress diplomacy to address regional conflict

Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a telephone call on Tuesday from Abdul Latif Rashid, President of Iraq. During the call, the two leaders reviewed the latest developments related to the military escalation in the region and its implications on the security and stability of countries. They emphasised the importance of continuing international efforts to return to dialogue and diplomatic means to resolve the conflict and its repercussions in a manner that maintains regional stability and safeguards the safety of its people.
