Oman Krishikkottam announces Harvest Fest 2026

Muscat – Oman Krishikkottam, an organisation based in Oman dedicated to advocating and educating the Malayali community on organic farming practices, officially released the poster of the Shahi Foods & Spices Harvest Fest 2026 at a function held at Malabar Days Restaurant, Al Khuwair. Addressing the media during the press conference, the organisers announced that the Harvest Fest 2026 will be held on 27 March 2026 at Majan Heights, Wadi Al Kabir. Renowned Film and Television artist Vinod Kovoor will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Organisers also announced that Binci James, who has scripted a remarkable success story in organic farming in Kerala, will be conferred during the event with Prakruthi Mitra (Friend of the Nature) along with a special cash award in appreciation of her contributions. In addition, Oman Krishikkottam will honour the best organic farmer from its group in Oman, conferring the title “ “Oman Karshakasree”, along with a special cash award of INR 50,000/-, sponsored by Shahi Foods and Spices.* It was also decided to facilitate selected senior farmers in recognition of their dedication and long-standing contributions to organic farming. “With more organic farming enthusiasts joining the group, honouring such achievements will inspire others and foster healthy competition,”the organisers said. The festival will further be enriched with a vibrant musical evening featuring popular singers Reshma Raghavendra and Vishnu Vardhan, promising an engaging cultural experience for the audience. The organisers expressed confidence that the Harvest Fest 2026 will serve as a meaningful platform to promote organic farming, sustainability, and community bonding among the Malayali diaspora in Oman.
