Muscat – In a significant diplomatic intervention, the Foreign Ministry (FM) has announced a comprehensive initiative to facilitate the safe return of foreign nationals currently situated within the Gulf region. H E Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister confirmed that Oman is actively coordinating with international governments and global aviation carriers to organise repatriation flights for those seeking to return to their home countries. The Omani authorities have emphasised that this humanitarian mission is inclusive of all individuals, regardless of nationality or documentation. Officials stated that the initiative is rooted in the fundamental human right to safety and security, asserting that the protection of human life remains the absolute priority. Alongside these logistical efforts, the Omani leadership has issued a direct appeal to the international community for an immediate cessation of hostilities, stressing that the preservation of peace is essential for regional stability.
