Qatar condemns Iran’s attacks on an Duqm port and oil tanker

Qatar – The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation of recent Iranian attacks that targeted the commercial port of Duqm and an oil tanker off the coast of Oman. In a formal statement released by the Foreign Ministry, Qatar described these actions as a clear violation of Omani sovereignty and an unacceptable escalation in regional tensions. The Ministry further characterised the strikes as a cowardly act, particularly given Oman’s long-standing and active role in diplomatic mediation efforts within the region.
