Muscat – Under the auspicious patronage of H H Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, the fourth edition of the “Together Forward” forum officially commenced its proceedings on Sunday. Organised annually by the Secretariat General of Council of Ministers, the two-day event aligns with the Royal Directives of His Majesty the Sultan to bridge the gap between the government and the community. This initiative serves as a vital platform for transparency, allowing officials to listen directly to the views, suggestions, and aspirations of citizens across various sectors to ensure inclusive national development. The forum’s agenda features a series of high-level discussion sessions and dialogues focusing on pillars essential to the nation’s future. Central to these conversations is the Oman Vision 2040 framework, alongside deep dives into investment prospects within priority economic sectors. A significant portion of the dialogue is dedicated to the development of Oman’s governorates and their pivotal role in driving regional investment. Furthermore, the event will celebrate local innovation by announcing the winning teams of the “Idea Makers – Hamat” programme, highlighting the creative contributions of the youth to the Sultanate’s comprehensive growth.
